Since the beginning of mankind the complexity of the world provided a lot of challenges. The curiosity of the early homo sapiens and the human need for explanations of natural phenomena provided a fertile ground for questions and possible answers.

So throughout all ears and all over the world civilizations produced a multitude of belief systems and religions. Most of these belief systems have passed away without any documents of their existence. The ones we are aware of today have undergone an evolutionary process.

Since the age of enlightenment in the 17.th century many religions and churches have lost their traditional influence due to scientific advancements. Nevertheless religions still exist today and form the view of the world of many people.
